Have You Been Sprayed?

Are you a farmer or individual who has been in the wrong place at the wrong time? Have you encountered an unintended overspray or spray drift from ground applicator? Please call the IOA office and tell us about it. We have received several calls from members around the state reporting this. The outcomes have ranged from illness or lost crops to fear of losing certification due to these contaminations.

The IOA staff has conversed at state level on this issue and how to regulate it. Possible legislation is under consideration. The IOA staff is gathering a list to document both the health risks and economic losses sustained by our members due to these accidents. Numbers talk and this list is very important to stress the seriousness of the issue.
