IOA Field Day: Seed Savers Exchange Facility and Farm Tour

Join IOA and the widely renowned Seed Savers Exchange for a free field day at their facility and farm in Decorah on Thursday, August 29 from noon to 3 p.m.

The field day includes a tour of the the vast production catalog and seed bank, on-site farms, processing areas, preservation garden, and special projects. The tour will end at the Seed Savers gift shop, where guests will have the opportunity to network and delve deeper into the fascinating world of seed saving and sustainable agriculture.

About Seed Savers Exchange

Since 1975, the Seed Savers Exchange has been dedicated to the vital mission of safeguarding heirloom seeds and promoting their use in sustainable agriculture. The 890-acre property is home to thousands of rare and heirloom vegetable, fruit, flower, and herb varieties -- many of which are no longer available commercially -- and a hub of educational workshops and events.
