- Bryce Irlbeck is an organic farmer, owner of B&B Irlbeck Farms as well as the founder of AgriSecure. Bryce has a 4000 acre organic operation with his father, where they grow alfalfa, corn, soybeans, peas, barley, canola, and rye. Recognizing that his organic farm was succeeding while many others struggled, Bryce founded AgriSecure in 2018, to help farmers in his community learn how to profit from organic farming.
- Olga Reding is the Education and Outreach Coordinator for Iowa Organic Association. Olga received her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University, and her masters degree from Drake University. Olga has been passionate about organics ever since she realized that up to 70% of everything we put on our bodies gets absorbed into our bloodstream. In 2016 Olga launched her company Olga’s Organics, and created the 1st and only USDA Organic Certified makeup with her Loose Face Powder. Olga is passionate about working with all farmers in Iowa that are looking to transition to organic.
During this presentation you will hear from Olga Reding in regards to the history of organic agriculture, the National Organic Program, future trends and forecasts, resources to further explore the organic movement.
