The Birds and Bees: Pollinator Garden Habitat

WLL event

Join Tama County Women, Land & Legacy (WLL) for its upcoming event, “The Birds and Bees: Pollinator Garden Habitat.” The evening features Lori Norton of Norton’s Greenhouse in Toledo and Tama County Naturalist Raina Genaw.

Lori and her husband, Don, began their business with one greenhouse in May 1993. By 1998, Norton’s Greenhouse had grown to nine greenhouses and a garden center. Each year is an adventure, adding new varieties to their sales inventory. Lori will have live pollinator-friendly plants on hand for this event.

Raina provides outreach and educational programming throughout Tama County. Since joining the Tama County Conservation Board staff in May of 2023, Raina has led or assisted with over 100 educational programs and reached over 3,300 people with environmental education.
