OCIA Organic Field Day at Clear Creek Acres

OCIA Chapter 1 of Iowa is sponsoring a field day at Clear Creek Acres (Dan Fehr's) farm on Saturday, August 27 with festivities beginning at 10 a.m. The field day will include a tour of the farm, lunch, visits with seed and equipment suppliers and plenty of time to network with other organic farmers.

Clear Creek Acres is located at 5727 440th St, West Bend, Iowa.

Clear Creek Acres is a 4th generation organic farming operation and has been organic since the late 1990’s. They raise corn, soybeans, oats and alfalfa in a 4-year rotation. About ¼ of the acres are oats, ¼ soybeans and ½ corn.
