IOA is excited to introduce you to the newest addition of our team, Olga Reding. Olga will be leading our education and outreach activities – please reach out and introduce yourself. In just three short weeks Olga has hit the ground running. Olga has strong professional skills and an organic background that will help grow awareness and support for IOA mission and programs. Olga has a certified organic business and understands the certification process, she has hands on experience interacting with public about organic principles and standards, she demonstrates impressive talents managing website and social media platforms, and most importantly, she is passionate about organic!
Olga is originally from a small Eastern European country called Moldova. She moved with her mother to United States in 2003 and became a citizen in 2009. Olga grew up on a farm in Rockford, Iowa and has close to ties to the land and a farming culture. She received her BA degree with a double major in Psychology and Political Science, and a minor in Russian Studies from Iowa State University; additionally, she obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration with an Executive Leadership emphasis from Drake University. Olga and her husband Brian launched Olga’s Organics in 2016 and created the 1st and only USDA Organic Certified makeup in the USA. Olga has been committed to providing consumers certified organic makeup/body care/skincare options and is an avid advocate for certified organic farming. Olga and Brian have two sons, Walter and Harvey. In her spare time, Olga enjoys downhill skiing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. Welcome, Olga!
